Extension of Form fill up date of BA, BSc, BCom Part I 2018

BCom Part I Hons and Gen Exam 2018 under (under 1+1+1 system) form fill up date has been extended only for two days : 26th and 27th June, 2018. Candidates would be allowed under no circumstances after 8pm of 27th June, 2018.   

 

For BA/BSc Part I Hons and Gen Exam 2018 under (under 1+1+1 system) also form fill up date has been extended for three days : 2nd, 3rd and 4th July, 2018. Candidates would be allowed under no circumstances after 8pm of 4th July, 2018.

Counseling for Admission 2018-19

The candidates whose names appeared in the merit list should come to the college office of the ground floor with the following documents in the following dates for counselling:

1.     Original and Xerox HS or equivalent Mark-Sheet

2.      Original and Xerox Madhyamik or equivalent Admit card for age verification;

3.     Two copies passport size photographs;

4.     Bank challan paid for withdrawal of admission form of Rs 200/-;

5.     Original and Xerox Cast certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates;

After counselling and verification the selected candidates must deposit the fees of admission by clicking ‘Pay Admission Fees Online’ of this webpage through SBI Collect within next bank working day through Bank Challan/Card. Prospectus and Fees book mentioning class and roll number will be available from the college cash office at the ground floor after complying the same.

Following dates are scheduled for counselling:

22.6.18 for BCom Hons and Gen 5pm onwards

23.6.18 for BSc Hons and Gen 5pm onwards

25.6.18 for BA Hons and Gen 5 pm onwards

Walk-in-interview for College Appointed Contractual teacher

A walk-in-interview for College Appointed Contractual teaching posts on the following subjects has been arranged on 27.6.18 (for Anthropology 2 posts, Hindi 1 post) and 29.6.18 (for Mathematics 2 posts, Botany 1 post, Physiology 1post) from 5.30 pm. Candidates must bring all their mark-sheets, certificates and age proof documents with them. Qualification: Hons in BA/BSc and at least 55% Marks in MA /MSc of the subject. Admission form for BA BSc BCom Hons and Gen for 1st year (1st semester) will be available in this webpage (www.bangabasievening) from 9.6.18 after 8.00 PM. Click 'Apply online for UG Course' within 19.6.18. Candidates can apply maximum 2 subjects per Rs 200/- which should be paid by Challan or card or netbanking through the form or directly by clicking ‘Pay Admission Fees Online’ then select category ‘1st Year Admission Form’. Mention application number of the form in challan.

The College has Honours Course in Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Chemistry, Mathematics, Anthropology, Economics, Physiology, Botany and Accountancy. General subjects include all the above plus Physics, Geography and Zoology.

First Merit List of candidates, those who have paid Admission Form fees through the college webpage will appear in the webpage on 20thJune 2018. 

Selected candidates may deposit the fees of admission by clicking ‘Pay Admission Fees Online’ within 22nd June 2018 through Bank Challan/Card.

Deposition of both the fees is essential for considering admission.

Summer Recess

Summer Recess will start from 16.5.18 and the college will reopen on 2.7.18. However, Special Classes and Practical Classes have been arranged for some departments, where necessary. The office will remain open from Monday to Friday every Week from 5.30 to 8.00 PM.
