6th Provisional Merit List for 1st sem of 1st Year Candidates

Sixth Merit List (Provisional) will be published on 26.10.2020. Candidates, whose names would be appeared in the  6th Merit List 2020,  are hereby instructed to deposit their Admission Charges within 27.10.2020 12AM through this webpage, against their successful Application Number, even after obtaining the same they can deposit the fees earlier, if they desire, otherwise, they would have no claim for the seat. Else, the seat would remain booked for them. 

The date of submission of the hard copy of the form and self-attested Xerox copies of certificates and Challan/e-receipt by the students and their verification has been postponed by the order of Higher Education Dapartment. It will be announced on 2nd November2020, following instructions of the University. After verification the students will get their Roll Number, Fees book and Identity Card from cash office, date of which will be Announced later through this webpage. Commencement of Classes will be announced later through this webpage.

Seat Booking and Admission for 2nd Year (3rd semester) and 3rd Year (5th Semester) students

 All 2nd and 3rd Year Students of Semester 3rd and 5th respectively those who have not yet deposited Seat Booking Fees and Admission Fees are hereby asked to do the same through this website within 5th November 2020 (extended). After 5th November 2020 they may collect fees book with Roll Numbers following Social Distancing Rule by submitting the following papers to Sri Rajesh Roy of Cash office, in particular dates, which will be announced after 5th November 2020, . The required documents are mentioned below:

1. A printed copy of Seat Booking form, filled in ink, which is seen at the top of this page, marked by blinking Star Seat Booking Form for 3rd & 5th sem . Submit the hard copy of the same to the cash office.

2.They must deposite the current year's Seat Booking fees by clicking the appropriate drop down menu from  Pay Admission/Tution/Seat Booking Feesthen Accept the "Terms Used" by putting tick mark on the box and click "proceed", then click State of Corporate / Institution "West Bengal", then click on drop down menu, "Seat Booking 2nd/3rd year". Submit Challan or E Receipt of the same to the office.

3. They must deposite the current year's admission fees again by the same way, Click  Pay Admission/Tution/Seat Booking Fees . Then Accept the "Terms Used" by putting tick mark on the box and click "proceed", then click State of Corporate / Institution "West Bengal", then click on drop down menu by clicking the appropriate drop down menu, e.g., "2nd Year BA Gen" or "3rd Year BA H History" etc., whichever is applicable. Submit Challan or E Receipt of the same to the office. 

4. Submit the admit card and /or marksheet of the previous year examination to the cash counter for enrollment.

Date of Verification Cum Registration of 1st Year 1st Semester Students

Date of Verification Cum Registration of 1st Year 1st Semester Students will be announced in this webpage on 2nd November, 2020 following guideline of University of Calcutta, after receiving the same. Students of different disciplines would be asked to appear personally in separate dates with their original mark-sheets and testimonials, age proof Certificate, and caste certificate (if any) along with hard copy of application form and challan or E-receipt of payment. They must submit xerox copy of the said documents, along with  two copies of passport size photograph to the office by hand.

Puja Holidays

The Puja Holiday will start from 21.10.20 (Wednesday). All sorts of Govt. activities will resume as per the Notice of Govt of West Bengal and Department of Higher Education. The college office will reopen on 2.11.2020 with some selected staff (details will be notified later). Staffs must not leave the station without prior pemission.

1. "Project Work" (Paper Code : CC 6.1 Ch) for Semester VI Honours :
Submit a Project Work Report concerning any topic on Accounting, Financial, Economic, Entrepreneurial and Taxation issues (e.g. New Business Proposal, Cash / Debtors / Inventory / Working Capital Management, E- Commerce, Goods & Service Tax (GST), Environmental Accounting / Management, Financial Statement Analysis, IFRS & Ind AS, Direct Tax Code (DTC), Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013 etc).

All students of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com 3rd year/6th Semester those who have not yet submitted their Final project report of Environmental Studies of Calcutta University 2020 must submit the same between 25 September 2020 to 30th September 2020. Online classes by E-Sikshak2 in the college Portal

The college has already started online classes from 15th March 2020 by Whatsapp of teachers, google classroom, Zoom etc according to the instruction of DPI, Education Directorate, Bikash Bhaban, which is essential due to the complete closure of the college to avoid chances of COVID19 virus infection. The students are asked to participate in classes by college online portal (E-Sikshak2), at the initial phase there would be no user name or password. This would later be helpful in participating in classes and receiving attendance.

Teachers are uploading study material in the form of jpg image, photographs, pdf file, word file, power point presentation or video presentation.

Students should follow the following steps for Online Classes:

First click at “E-Sikshak2” lying atop the webpage of the college at this website  www.bangabasievening.edu.in The webpage for online classes would be open and enter into college classroom through the right side of the opened page.

Then select session 2019-20, select Year/Semester, select Course Honours/General, and select Subject.  Now receive study material kept there by the teachers by smartphone or computer. At the initial phase there would be no user name or password. Later it would be imposed. 

Students may contact the departmental teachers, whose phone numbers are available in tbe 'Department' section of this page, if necessary.

On-line Teaching for the Students

      As per Notice issued by the Registrar, University of Calcutta and the issue of Lock-Down Notice by Govt of India all examinations of the University of Calcutta and Form Fill up related to examination or scrutiny  will remain suspended till further notice of the competent authority, as a precautionary measure to check the spread of COVID -19. The revised dates of exams will be notified later.

        The college office has also been closed completely. No one would be allowed to enter in the college campus. As per notice of the Principal to the departmental teachers on-line teaching process by whatsapp group/ google classroom/ ‘E-Sikshak’ is going on. Students, those who have not yet joined the group are asked to contact their respective HOD/in-Charges. Names and contact No of all HOD/in-Charges, along with all teachers of the departments are available in the 'Departments' section of this webpage.
